The 2017, AART Expo was held at Prince of Wales Museum of Western India, Mumbai from 1st to 5th of August. The Exhibition cum Sale proved to be of great success and attracted a good amount of people.

 

 

The exhibition showcased the traditional crafts from all over India. It had a combination of both textile products and various accessories made by the artisans.

 

 

Some of the traditional products showcased at the events are West Bengal saree's, Lucknow Chikankari kurta from Lucknow, Ikkat Saree and dupatta, Jaipur block printed Kurta, Maheshwari sarees from Madhya Pradesh, hand-printed sarees from Calcutta,  Chanderi saress from Madhya Pradesh, Erkal handloom Sarees, Kalamkari products, Madhubani sarees from Bihar, Banarasi sarees etc.

 

Apart from this, the traditional paintings, furnishings and accessories were also present for the sale.

 

 

The exhibition was a great spot for the ones who love hand made products and are in love with the traditional and ethnic products. The wide range of products and large variety of materials and crafts present made the event fruitful.
