HT Media and Koovs expand strategic partnership

Koovs plc, (AIM: KOOV),the London listed fashion-forwardonline business has joined forces with strategic partner and investor HT Media to celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March, by profiling five amazing young women,famous in India in five very different fields.

 

 

The daily featureswill leverage the reach of HT Media’s flagship English language newspaper The Hindustan Times and its landmark Fever 104 FM radio station with profilesin The Hindustan Times HTCity section and radio interviewsrunning parallel on the evening primetime Fever 104 FMKhuraffati Nitin show,airing from 5-9pm daily.

 

 

The interviews will featureActress Richa Chadda, Athlete Namrata Purohit, Celebrity Stylist Sanjana Batra, Comedienne Kaneez Surka and Chef Bani Nanda.

 

This new initiative is part of the continuing strategic partnership between Koovs and HT Media.HT Media Grouphas invested £3 million and holds a 6.16% stake in Koovs plc.HT Media is recognised for investing in digital companies with strong growth prospects in India and is one of the leading media companies in India, covering not only print and radio, but also online, digital and events.

Richa Chadda 30 – Award winning actress, Richa was named by Forbes India as one of its Class of 2016 ‘30 Under 30’. Not afraid of tackling challenging parts, she has won plaudits for her roles in Gangs of Wasseypur and Massan.

Namrata Purohit 23 – Founded The Pilates Studio in Mumbai at 16 as the youngest qualified Stott Pilates Teacher in the World. Also, author of ‘The Lazy Girls Guide to Being Fit’, Namrata competed as a junior at national level in squash and regional level in football.

Sanjana Batra 26 – A self-starter beginning as a stylist with an advertising company, Sanjana opened her own salon in Mumbai, is now stylist to a roster of stars and has an enviable social media following of over 120,000 on Instagram alone.

Kaneez Surka 31 – Comedienne and Improv artist Kaneez features regularly on the CNN-IBN weekly satire show ‘The Week that Wasn’t’. Kaneez was raised in south Africa but took a gap year in Mumbai and loved it – so she stayed.

 

Bani Nanda 25 – Pastry chef Bani is considered a ‘rock star’ in her field, with her Delhi based Patisserie MIAM a favourite in fashion circles. She trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has worked in top hotels both in Paris and Delhi.
